My World
The schools participating in this project continue the cooperation that started in 2023 in the "Letters From All Around the World" project. This project aims to motivate the students to use English to communicate with peers from other countries, allowing them to use the knowledge learned in practical contexts. In this project, we are going to deal with topics related to 12-year-old students and their world and lifestyle (free time, sports, entertainment, gadgets, Internet safety, Internet addiction, school and school life, our city, and the region we live in our country). This project will focus on language skills (written as well as spoken English), IT skills (working with various web tools), work skills (working in a team, following plans and deadlines, responsibility for one's task, etc.), skills connected with being a citizen of a certain country and Europe as such, we want to build tolerance and awareness of cultural differences and encourage students to look for inspiration in others. We will try to improve students' habits and promote healthy lifestyles through various topics.
Aims
- promoting a healthy lifestyle for our students by forming healthy habits. -improving language and IT skills - getting familiar with different places and landmarks in partner countries - raising awareness of different cultures traditions and customs - developing work skills (working in a team, following plans and deadlines)
Expected Results
Students will create posters/videos/brochures about healthy living and the dangers of the Internet in pairs and teams using various web tools.The results of the project and students' works will be regularly published on the Twinspace platform, and the general public will be informed through our pages on social networks (Facebook, Instagram), on school websites, and through local media. Teachers will also present their work at school teacher councils and at teacher meetings and trainings.
